Dave’s industry experience has covered everything from hog purchasing and marketing to contract negotiation and open market sales. He started his career at Heinhold hog markets, then becoming a market manager for IBP hog market. Following IBP, he was the market manager and regional buyer for Farmland Foods and later joined Cargill Pork as a regional manager and contract administrator.
Dave leverages over 30 years of experience to assist clients in the development, negotiation, and management of successful marketing programs.
Dave has been a livestock auctioneer since 1988 and has traveled to over ten states to run sales. He lives in eastern Iowa and owns and operates a 25 head cow-calf operation with his wife Tami and son Garrett.
